Pre-School.Mission Statement

Crestwood Country Day School provides a creative, individualized, academic experience; a haven in which children may comfortably and safely explore the magical world of an enriched education, where self-esteem and a sense of community are fostered in a small class setting. We provide a nurturing, sensitive atmosphere encouraging high standards and personal accomplishment, supported by a well-informed teaching staff and a forward thinking administration in partnership with the entire school community.

Stephanie Hart Steiner (Educational Director)-

has been part of the Crestwood family since 1997. She has received a BFA in education and a Masters degree from CW Post. Stephanie has worked in the public school system for 7 years and has worked several positions at Crestwood from being a counselor, Group Leader and Division Head during the summers as well as teaching music during the school year.

Christine O'Donnell (School Administrator)-

has been part of the Crestwood family since 2003. She received a Finance Degree from Hofstra University. Prior to joining our staff, Christine sent her daughter here for both school and camp. Her first summer here, Christine was a group leader in our mini day division. Christine then began working for us full time in the office in 2004. Since then, Christine has been both a school and camp administrator. In the upcoming 2010 summer, Christine will take over the preschool Division Head position.
