Pre-school & Kindergarten
Our decades of experience and innovation have helped us create the ultimate summer experience for your pre-schooler. Our wonderful program provides a self-esteem building, nurturing, caring, and non-competitive environment for the children.
You and your child will come to love Crestwood for a number of reasons:
- All groups supervised by a teacher, many of whom work year-round at Crestwood's private nursery school.Their expert supervision, special attention to safety, and constant communication make Crestwood the special place it is.
The most nurturing, caring, and fun group of college aged
female counselors around. A high staff to child ratio.
- Separate and special facilities geared to, and just for our pre-schoolers.
- Separate heated pre-school pool run by our pre-school swim director and specially trained staff of swim instructors. 2 swims per day; 1 double period swim for mini day.
- Specially trained pre-school and kindergarten instructors at all activities including sports, music and arts and crafts.

A Great Place to Start...
Mini Day:
Designed for pre-schoolers who would benefit from an abbreviated day. Program hours are from 10 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and 3 or 5 day per week options are available. Mini-day bus transportation is available. Our mini-day counselors serve as bus counselors offering continuity, a familiar face, and comfort for what is often a child's first school bus experience.
Papawnee:
Also for pre-schoolers, but offered for a full day. These children enjoy more of our fun activities.
Kindergarten:
Boys and girls are grouped separately. More activity is introduced in the day including tennis, hockey, outdoor bowling, super water slides, and large sports facilities. Be assured, though, that we are still careful to monitor the pace of the day.
