Crestwood Teens 2010: FLYING THE GREAT LAKES
Crestwood's Teen Program has always been considered a unique program with spectacular events and trips. From California in '94, to the Olympics in '96, to Florida in '00 & '03 & '07, to the 9 day Great Lakes Tour in '05, Crestwood Teens are always looking to top our already long list of extraordinary trips. In 2010, that will be accomplished with our next amazing 5 day trip: "FLYING THE GREAT LAKES."
In August, Teens who sign up for the "plus" program will travel on a 5 day extravaganza to CHICAGO AND THE WISCONSIN DELLS. Teens will fly out of New York and start the trip in the "Windy City." Teens will explore the unique Millennium Park and the Magnificent Mile, while having plenty of time to do the activities on the NAVY PIER. Teens will be able to go to the beach on Lake Michigan, as well as see the entire city from the Willis Tower (formerly know as the Sears Tower). Dining will include the famous PORTILLO's and Ed Debevic's where Teens will be entertained by dancing and sassy waitresses. A tour of Northwestern University and the Museum of Science and Industry will peak the teens' interests. Depending on the baseball schedule, a White Sox or Cubs game may be arranged. After our time in Chicago, Teens head to the WISCONSIN DELLS to stay at the magnificent Kalahari Hotel. This resort has both an indoor and outdoor water park on the hotel grounds. Teens will try to escape from Wizard Quest and explore the scientific wonders of The Exploratory before seeing the incredible Tommy Bartlett Show, a daredevil water-ski show on Lake Delton. Teens will also visit Big Chief Mount Olympus, where they can go on unique rides, go-kart courses and coasters, including Zeus's Playground. Our Teens will also enjoy Noah's Ark, the largest water park in the world. It is the home of Black Anaconda, the largest and fastest water roller coaster in the world! Teens then return home with memories to last a lifetime!
The Crestwood Teens program is much more than just overnight trips. All Crestwood Teens whether they choose to participate in our extended overnight weeks ("Plus Program") or not are provided with a variety of daily activities, late nights and short overnight trips.
