{"id":10309,"date":"2026-07-13T08:54:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-13T12:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crestwoodcountryday.com\/pages\/?p=10309"},"modified":"2026-07-13T08:55:21","modified_gmt":"2026-07-13T12:55:21","slug":"competitive-sports-elective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crestwoodcountryday.com\/pages\/competitive-sports-elective\/","title":{"rendered":"Competitive Sports Elective &#8211; WEEK 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.crestwoodcountryday.com\/pages\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/shareFile-53.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>COMPETITIVE SPORTS ELECTIVE &#8211; WEEK 3<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>COMPETITIVE SPORTS ELECTIVE (for grades 1-6) will return in WEEK 3 with the following schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SOCCER<\/strong>\u00a0on Monday<\/li>\n<li><strong>FLAG FOOTBALL<\/strong>\u00a0on Wednesday<\/li>\n<li><strong>BASKETBALL<\/strong>\u00a0on Friday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Here are some details:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25cf The program will take place during campers elective time<br \/>\n\u25cb Grade 2 &amp; 3 during period 10 &amp; 11 elective (approximately 1 hour)<br \/>\n\u25cb Grade 4 to 6 during period 8 &amp; 9 elective (approximately 1 hour)<br \/>\n\u25cb The program is coed<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Grade<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; One Period class (approximately 35 minutes) that will be scheduled based on registration. Campers will miss a scheduled activity period to participate in the program.\u00a0 Boys &#8211; usually period 7; Girls &#8211; usually period 7 or 8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u25cf Campers may choose to participate in only one sport, two sports or all 3 sports.<br \/>\n\u25cf This program is for campers who want to play in a competitive environment.\u00a0 There are other sport options available (as well as many other non-sport activity choices) during the elective time for campers who want to play in a less intense environment with our Crestwood Coaches<br \/>\n\u25cf\u00a0<strong>CAMPERS WILL SIGN UP AT CAMP\u00a0<\/strong>with their Group Leader, just as they choose their weekly electives.
