The Crestwood Rock Band<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>is for campers entering 3rd to 7th grade who love music and want to learn how to \u201cJam\u201d. Crestwood Rock Band rehearsals will generally take place during some of our campers elective periods. Rock band instruments (guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, vocals will be provided for them). Rock Band will perform at camp events over the summer.<\/p>\n

Rock Band will hold auditions the first week of camp. We want to make sure that all players are at the same level. Beginners are welcome!\u00a0 Campers who are novice at their instrument will receive pull out lessons to work towards being in a future band. Music lessons are available for campers entering grades 1st to 7th.\u00a0 If your camper will be absent during the first week, please contact our music staff prior to the start of camp, so we can include your child.<\/p>\n

Crestwood is excited to announce that after a few summers working with our preschool campers, Bruce Katz will be returning to work with our older campers and direct both Crestwood\u2019s Got Talent and The Crestwood Rock Band.\u00a0 Bruce is a K-8 music teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience including Chorus, Band and private voice and instrument lessons.<\/p>\n

Please fill out this\u00a0google form<\/a>\u00a0to let us know your interest in our Crestwood Performing Arts programs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please note: The form is not required for your child to be in one of our clubs. Campers can make their own decision to join clubs when at camp. Likewise, we will not \u201cforce\u201d a child to participate, even if a parent signs them up.<\/p>\n
